Sandile Zungu, Executive Chairman - SIRA No: 1015387

Sandile is the executive chairman of Zungu Investment Company (ZICO). He has a BSc Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the UCT Graduate School of Business.  In 2000 he completed the Program for Global Leadership certificate at the Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.

After six years in engineering, Sandile joined African Merchant Bank and was appointed associate within the corporate finance division.  He left in 1997 to establish SARHWU Investment Holdings, growing the company from a zero asset base to more than R400 million, in net asset value.

In August 2000 he joined the then R6 billion New Africa Investments Limited (NAIL) as executive director responsible for strategy and empowerment.  He was intimately involved in developing and implementing plans by NAIL to distribute its interest in Metropolitan Life Limited (METLIFE).  He left NAIL at the end of 2001 after its complete transformation to a R1 billion media company.

Sandile is past chairman of a number of companies, including Denel, Barnard Jacobs Mellet Holdings and Spectrum Shipping. Recently he resigned from the boards of a number of large organizations, such as Edcon, Ellerine Holdings, Clover, Metlife and Trade & Investment KwaZulu Natal, so that he could focus more exclusively on building ZICO. He is non-executive director of SARHWU Investment Holdings, Viamax Fleet Solutions, Aflease Gold, sxr UraniumOne Africa and KwaZulu-Natal Growth Fund.

His many notable achievements include representing South Africa in 2000 at the 6th finals of the World Young Business Achievers, held in Florida, USA, where he won the much-coveted Outstanding Business Strategy award.  Sandile is a member of the World Economic Forum in his capacity as Young Global Leader.  He subscribes to the philosophy: hard work pays its dues and integrity sustains gains.

Tsepiso Mofokeng, Executive Director - SIRA No: 1015385

Tsepiso has a B.Com, B.Com Honours and MBL degrees (UNISA), Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation (University of Johannesburg), Certificate in Fleet Management (RAU), Certificate in Corporate Law (UNISA).He is a strategic marketer who, over the years, has built impeccable credentials on the subject. 

After completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree, he joined Business Partners as a Business Advisor.  He moved to Independent Newspapers as a media analyst before working for Unilever, Coca-Cola, ABSA Bank and NBS in the field of marketing.  Tsepiso attended a Management Training Program in the Netherlands and received a Management Development Program certificate.  The overall objective of the program was to provide South African managers with an increased understanding of management and marketing and, at the same time, strengthen their skills to develop successful economic and technological relations with foreign partners. 

Tsepiso is a board member of Zungu Investments (Pty) Ltd, Isikhonyane Cleaning Services, Fidelity Supercare Cleaning Services (Pty) Ltd,  Qhubeka Forensic Services (Pty)Ltd, Zico Gaming (Pty) Ltd, He is also a Trustee of Indoni Yamanzi Trust and an alternate Director at Fidelity Cash Management Services (Pty) Ltd. He is the Chairman of Limited Payout Machine Association of South Africa.

Tsepiso is a current CEO for Zico Gaming (Pty) Ltd and Qhubeka Forensic Services (Pty) Ltd , both Zico subsidiaries.

Herman Havenga, Chief Executive Officer - SIRA No: 1032487

Herman Havenga, an experienced investigator, accredited with 20 years high-ranking South African Police Services experience in the investigation and prevention of Organized Crime as well as various dimensions of investigations within the Corporate Sector. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of Crime Intelligence and court directed investigations.

He provided Project Management training at the South African Police Services, Detective Academy and to the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Malawi, but are also training a number of local companies and government departments in the fight against  corporate crime and corruption.  Herman Havenga has the following academic attributes related to his field of expertise :
